Biond announces new single, ‘Like He Never’.
In her first release Immortalised, Biond introduced us to her glitter-pop world. “Crying + Dancing = Crancing? I'm in” - Max Quinn, Triple J Unearthed.
With ‘Like He Never’, Biond hits her stride. A fem-pop stomper written as a tonic for modern hook-up culture, Like He Never is an anthem for those post-break-up nights spent on the dance floor: the kind where you inevitably end in the local kebab shop at 3am. “A track about dancing might seem like a cliché, but when you’ve been used, you feel like you’ve lost ownership of your body. It takes all the confidence in the world to get back out there and dance like none of it got to you.”
The track was produced by Hamish Patrick and Lewis Moody, and mixed by Simon Lam.
‘Like He Never’ will drop on streaming platforms on July 18th, with the launch party being held on August 1st at The Grace Darling.
QUOTES for 'Like He Never'
On one night stands:
"People lie through their teeth to get you into bed... You can think you're starting a relationship and wake up the next day to find out you were just a conquest. I don't know about you, but it leaves me pretty messed up"
"It's impossibly hard to pull yourself together and get back out there knowing there's a real chance you'll be used and discarded. Anyone who's been on Tinder knows what I'm talking about."
